Webster Environmental Club Hosts Seed-Starting Workshop

Students from the Webster Environmental Club pose with freshly sown seeds in the Pearson House.

Last Thursday, the Webster Environmental Club kicked off the gardening season with a seed-starting workshop at Pearson House Garden.

Students gathered to plant trays of tomatoes and peppers, giving the garden a head start on growing these popular edibles. The newly sown seeds are now thriving in a safely guarded location, and reports confirm that a few have already sprouted. As the plants grow, so does the club's commitment to sustainability, community and local food production. Stay tuned and watch for updates on as these tiny sprouts make their way into the garden!
